OSMF is characterised by inability to open the mouth within normal limit with palpable fibrous bands in Cheek, Palate or lips. Chewing tobacco and betel nut are most common cause of OSMF. Malignant transformation rate is high in Oral submucous Fibrosis. Depending upon the grades OSMF can be treated non surgically or surgically.
